OK, Re-applied the credentials, didn't type just re-selected the same credentials from the drop down box, and it's now picked up all of the Nutanix entities.

We Mobility team is designing the mobile app so we want to pull out daily alerts details on mobile app. Does solarwinds provider public IP address that can talk to solarwind
I'm starting to try the Virtualisation manager (trial) for Orion with Nutanix, but don't seem to be able to get the basic's working.
We've got 2 clusters, both in the polling stations with the CVM credentials added, which wasn't an issue, it accepted those fine.
However when I go to the virtualisation dashboard i got a red circle exclamation against 1 cluster and the yellow triangle against the other. Pointing the cursor at both displays
NOT FOUND
we have no data for this item
In the asset summary it shows
1 host,
16 CPU
31.7 GB Ram
under the nutanix subsection
2 clusters
and 0 esx hosts/vms etc.
so it seems sadly lacking on information, and I can't figure out how to get it polling. I tried installing the SAM trial alongside, but that totally broke all of Orion, no menu's showing, to widget information on anything, and had to restore the server from backup.
We have 1 legacy HyperV node, and Orion has auto discovered that and pulled back all info perfectly fine.
Is anyone able to offer any help?
If this doesn't function then SW will probably be replaced with something that does work. Don't have issues with monitoring Cisco network equipment (other than an ASA)
Thanks much
Hi,
I'm just had a similar issue (also with SAML 2.0 and only for certain user). The Solution was pretty simple in my case. All those users (generic users), had no "First Name" entry in the AD User Object. Once added an synced with WHD, everything worked like a charm.
Hi guys,
I have a big problem. I have done this Database Setting in my Solarwinds Server.
the details statistic must be summarized to hourly statistics after 70 days. but it doesn't work. it seems to be deleted.
I added all of the nodes 8 months ago.
Kindly advise. Your swift response would be highly appreciated.

Is there anything else listening on port 514?
Well i was able to come up with an easy workaround that got me what i was after. I cloned an already existing Log Alert, and changed the trigger condition to only a vendor that i knew wasn't a legit target but was still being tagged.
and said include Processing Rule where "is not empty".
In the trigger action, i put 3 variables, the Log Message, the Rule Name, and Rule Definition ID.
It didn't take long to trigger, and as soon as it did, i see in the alert message the name of the rule that triggered the alert.
And sure enough, after going to that rule, i found that it did not have any conditions or limitations applied, corrected it, and haven't seen any improperly fire since.
Are you using the Scope section of the alert's Trigger Condition to filter the custom properties, or are you putting all of your filter values in the Actual Trigger Condition section of the Trigger Condition page? The "All Alerts this Object Can Trigger" widget relies on the Scope section of Trigger Conditions. If you don't properly use those, you won't get accurate data.
OK, thanks for sharing the solution back here and I will do some investigation on why the ticket went dead on you.
I am noticing some potential weirdness with the data found in the ASA Insight data for Remote Access VPN Tunnels sessions. For example, I'm noticing some users who are showing as connected for months and months and months. That just isn't possible. Most of our users work in the office a few days (where they wouldn't connect to the VPN) and from home other days (where they would connect to the VPN). So how could they possibly be connected continuously for months. Even if these users were full time work from home users, there's no way they would be constantly connected day in and day out for months and months and months. The laptops get shut down and disconnected all the time. See screenshot below:
My other issue is that I picked out a random user and contacted him to see if he was currently connected to the VPN. He said he was, yet when I looked him up in the sessions table, it said he was currently disconnected and that he had last connected for less than 20 minutes that morning. Also, it seems to display time data in UTC time because, for example, it said the user I contacted was connected from 12:06pm to 12:25pm. It was 11:20am when I checked... He did say he logged in at around 7am EST that morning, which would be 12pm UTC time. Why is the data in the table not automatically mapped to the browsers local time like nearly every other widget in Orion? See screenshot below:
Is anyone else seeing inaccurate data like this for user sessions? The Firewall team is requesting some reports based on connection data in SolarWinds, but I don't want to spend a bunch of time creating this report if the data in it won't be accurate.
